For those who are familiar with Edition Collective's brands, Imprint (formerly Need) and Foremost, it'll come as no surprise that my immediate focus fell upon the development of an editorial approach for Rye 51.
And, for those familiar with Rye 51's stores and its in-house clothing line, it'll come as no surprise that there's an unprecedented opportunity on this front.
Raja Ratan, the founder of Q Clothier and Rye 51, has adopted an indefatigable approach to developing the finest products for the modern gentleman. And his work with Rye 51's in-house line is nothing short of phenomenal.
(And, for what it's worth, that's an opinion I held firmly before we started to dig into the acquisition.)
As a result, we're presented with a series of beautiful storefronts across the country, robust distribution logistics, an ever-evolving product-line, and newfound latitude to produce a greater volume (and quality) of releases.
So, for the new Rye 51, we set about developing a weekly release schedule of exclusive products, alongside in-depth interviews with prominent people. Additionally, we sought to institute all manner of innovations, including Apple Pay, same-day delivery, in-store pick-up, and more.
The result is a substantive enhancement of all that we sought to achieve with Imprint, Need, and Foremost. Rather than relying on semi-regular releases and some repetitive products, we're instead facing a world in which we can deal with weekly releases, all-new items, and more.
We're incredibly proud of all that we've developed for the new Rye, particularly in such a short period of time. Now, we're not sitting still. And we're excited to show you what we can do with a little bit more time.
